About Us
I’m Jess, the founder of BoxLove.
I launched Boxlove in February 2020, but the inspiration for it came to me after I graduated from university in 2012.
From a young age, I dreamed of starting my own business that would positively impact people's lives, but I wasn’t sure how to begin. Over the years, I envisioned what my small business could be while gaining valuable skills and experience in marketing and sales.
My mum is a Postmistress and runs a small gift shop within her Post Office. As a child, I spent my Saturday mornings helping her in the shop, snacking on 10p Freddos. She would call me her “Gift Shop Manager,” allowing me to order stock and arrange displays. I often picked out small gifts to send to friends, always including a note that made them smile. Little did 10-year-old me know that this would lay the foundation for the business I had always dreamed of 20 years later.
