I‘m Jess, founder of Boxlove.

I started BoxLove in February 2020, however, the idea initially came to me after graduating University in 2012.

Since a young age I’ve always wanted to run my own business and create something that would have a positive impact on people, but I wasn’t sure where to start.

I spent years imagining what this small business of mine would look like, while also gaining various skills and experience from the commercial industry, specifically within the areas of marketing and sales.

My mum is a Postmistress and has a little gift shop within her Post Office. From a very young age I’d spend my Saturday mornings helping her around the shop and snacking on 10p Freddos. She’d call me her “Gift Shop Manager” and let me order stock for her, as well as arranging the displays. I would regularly pick out small gifts from the shop and post these to my friends. I’d always include a little note inside which always made them smile. Little did 10 year old Jessica know that 20 years later this would be the basis of the business I had always dreamt of.
